CONTOUR® Ceiling Tiles Technical Specification
Material
CONTOUR Ceiling Tiles are made from pinta's innovative fiber-free willtec® foam. willtec is a lightweight, open-cell, melamine foam that provides excellent acoustical control. CONTOUR Ceiling Tiles also have a Hypalon®-coated surface that adds durability, prevents dirt/dust penetration and easily wipes clean with a damp cloth. Tiles for drop-in grid applications are backed with a sag resistant 5/8" backerboard. As an alternative, CONTOUR tiles are also available without a backerboard for adhesive-applied installations to walls and/or ceilings.

- Fits all 15/16" grid systems
- Standard 24" x 24" (nominal) dimension
- Basix 1—1-3/8" thick
- Basix 2 & Patterned — 2-1/8" thick
Installation
- Quickly drops into ceiling grids, or
- Simply glues onto existing, clean surfaces
- Cross-tees facilitate retrofitting of 2' x 4' lay-in panels
- Clean up minimized if installed at end of project
Accessories
pinta's acouSTIC™ foam adhesive provides a quick, solid bond for adhesive-applied CONTOUR Wall Tile applications.
