    PLUG & PLAY

    PLUG & PLAY

The name describes the concept: the “Plug & Play” system combines different functions – as a room divider, art object and acoustically effective system. Plug & Play allows the designer, and even the user, the freedom of creatively arranging the simple and pre-configured plug-in system, which consists of edge and middle elements, to create an individual design. The system is ideal for large rooms, for office solutions, hotel lobbies or restaurants. The Plug & Play elements are made of melamine resin foam or polyurethane foam and can be individually coated with a custom color. The design system is stabilized by means of round or square metal feet.

    Camouflage Baffles

    Camouflage

The creative ceiling system “Camouflage Baffles” consists of a melamine resin foam panel, on which round cylinders of the same material are applied at different heights and in different diameters. The single panels can be mounted individually in the manner of a puzzle next to each other or consecutively on the ceiling by means of threaded rods or cables. This creates an animated and moving surface that can be used as an overall solution for an entire room or as a highlight. With a high absorption level over the entire spectrum from 125 - 5,000 Hertz, Basotect creates optimum room acoustics. Camouflage Baffles elements can optionally be equipped with lighting, smoke detectors or speakers.

    WEAVE

    WEAVE

As the name reveals, “Weave” consists of woven polyester fleece strands that are mounted in an aluminum frame. This produces a textile surface. The frame can either be suspended from the ceiling or provided with feet and placed on the floor. The special thing about this product is the material: the highly effective acoustic fleece is made from recycled beverage bottles and, like the aluminum frame, can be completely recycled after its useful life. Although the fleece material is naturally white, it can be individually coated custom colors.

    TORSO

    TORSO

Sculpture, luminaire or object of art – “Torso” creates spatial design. The innovative system combines many functions, while the primary function – improving room acoustics – remains in the background. Nevertheless, Torso features an extremely high absorption level throughout the entire spectrum from 125 - 5,000 Hertz. The sculpture, suspended from the ceiling, consists of a painted wooden base plate on which single layers of melamine resin foam are glued in an offset pattern. They can be turned individually to enable numerous design possibilities. Torso can optionally be equipped with lighting.

    WAVE

    WAVE

Sweeping waves enhance the room with dynamics and a sense of motion. The curved melamine resin strips are ideal for acoustic design solutions in offices, restaurants or hotels – wherever an impressive ceiling design is desired without taking up too much ceiling space. Strips with a length of up to 10 ft. (3.00 meters) are fastened in a supporting construction to design a surface area of any size. The result is a ceiling with a uniform wavy visual effect consisting of modules with a depth of only 20 cm. Convincing features of the system include a broad absorption spectrum and lightweight and inexpensive installation of the prefabricated elements.

    ANTHONY WAVE

    ANTHONY WAVE

The design variant “Anthony Wave”, designed by Anthony Antonelli, also makes use of flowing waves and shifting shapes. To achieve the curved shape the melamine resin foam is cut to the necessary contour. The single elements are available with dimensions of 98.42 x 49.21 in (2.50 x 1.25 meters). Arranging several panels next to and behind each other creates the impression of a wave passing diagonally through the room. At 4.40 lbs (2 kg) the elements are very lightweight for easy installation. In addition to the white or grey base material, they can also be coated with custom colors. With an absorption capacity throughout the entire spectrum of 125 - 5,000 hertz, it goes without saying that the “Anthony Wave” system achieves optimal room acoustics.

    DUNE

    DUNE

The surface of “Dune” is striking, lively and varied. Despite the minimal depth of only 3.39 in (10 cm) the system succeeds in establishing a three-dimensional ceiling landscape. Waves made of melamine resin are glued onto a base panel made of the same material that is coated with acoustically effective fleece. The waves can be positioned directly adjacent or at a distance to each other to create individual visual effects. The square base panel has a size of 49.21 x 49.21 in (1.25 x 1.25 meters). Any number of panels can be combined to allow the wavy shapes to flow from one panel to the next. The single Dune panels can either be glued directly to the ceiling or mounted using threaded rods and can be rearranged without tools.

    ZORRO

    ZORRO

The acoustic system “Zorro” evokes the image of a textile surface made of a soft, falling material. This special visual effect is achieved by different lengths of melamine resin strips mounted in an aluminum frame. Depending on the length of the strips a Zorro element with dimensions of 8 x 5 ft. (2.5 x 1.5 meters) occupies a height from 7 to 9 in. (0.2 to 0.5 meters). The result is a vivid, flowing surface. The elements can be mounted on the ceiling with threaded rods or suspended by cables and arranged behind and next to each other to create a ceiling with a special visual effect. The melamine resin foam strips have a very high absorption capacity throughout the entire spectrum.
